“Firstly, the food was absolutely delicious. My guests and I were blown away by the quality of the food, and many of them commented on how it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The presentation of the food was also stunning, with each dish beautifully plated and garnished.

In addition to the food, the service provided by the staff was outstanding. They were friendly, attentive, and always on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly. They went above and beyond to make sure that my guests and I were happy, and many of my guests commented on how lovely and professional the staff were.”

“We loved our experience with Ako during our wedding weekend at Almer Manor in Dorset. Zak and Olivia catered for a variety of food including taco's, paella, sushi, cold cuts amongst other fabulous dishes for our cocktail buffet.

“I cannot recommend Ako enough! We met Olivia and Zak in the July prior to our May 2023 wedding to discuss menu options and we came away from the meeting absolutely buzzing for the day. They helped us to create a menu which we felt was different, relaxed and suited us and they talked us through the process step by step. Next came our menu trial in February which was absolutely delicious and we couldn’t believe the portion sizes. Everything came together perfectly. Good food at a wedding is always something we talk about as guests and we knew our guests were going to be wowed, thank you Zak! Olivia is so calm and handles everything you need (which is so appreciated as a stressed out bride). My bridesmaid commented on what a gem Olivia had been the day before and during the wedding even bringing my husband and I our own canapés whilst having our photos taken. Olivia and Zak are such positive and lovely people that we couldn’t imagine our wedding day without them. Thank you both and we hope our paths cross again soon!”

“Olivia and Zac catered for our wedding in April 2022 and we could not have been more impressed. They mentioned that they had previously worked at Chewton Glen, and the quality and the creativity you would expect from Michelin star food was found on our plates. Our menu was carefully planned to reflect our favourite dishes, tying together classic Welsh staples with modern, British cuisine. On the day, the food was sublime; from canapés right through to desert, we and our guests loved everything.

We have since been to other weddings, and the food did not hold a candle to what Zac and Olivia achieved for us on our wedding day. They couldn’t have given us a more perfect wedding breakfast. We will reflect on and appreciate their work for a lifetime.”

“We have used Ako Dining on a number of occasions and would highly recommend them. One time we asked them to create an alpine themed menu for a Christmas party, they created Christmas baubles that hung on our tree filled with yummy goodies, roasted nuts that just made everywhere smell amazing, along with a full hot buffet and smores!!

On a different occasion we had an incredible dinner party for 20 guests, our brief was scallops for starter, chicken & truffle for main and surprise us for Dessert - Oh wow, I have never seen anything like it! They turned the whole dining table into a dessert, it was delicious and so entertaining!! These guys are 5 star from their creative ideas, the friendly service throughout, the flavours and leaving everything in your home absolutely spotless - we couldn't ask for more!”

“Where to start! Olivia and Zak are the greatest team I’ve ever known!

Right from the start they were keen to meet us so we could discuss ideas/visions what we had for our wedding breakfast. They got to know our quirks and worked hard to meet what we were asking of them. The trial dinner was amazing and we couldn’t wait for the wedding to eat it all over again. We had canapés, a Meat Sharing board with a choice of sides followed by the most incredible desert boards! All the guests complimented the quality and quantity of the food! Certainly no one went hungry and all allergies were catered for. I can’t wait for the next opportunity to book with AKO again! Thank you for everything Zak and Olivia!”

“When we first met with Zak & Olivia over a coffee in Wimborne, we instantly clicked with them & discussed lots of options for catering at our wedding. They came up with some amazing & quirky food ideas! We knew we were in good hands and booked our date there and then.

If we could rate them higher than 5 stars we would. They catered for over 90 guests on the day and 140 in the evening, including alternatives for our veggie/vegan friends and all of our guests commented on how amazing the food was, some saying it was the best food they had ever tasted!”

A birthday celebration at our home for 15 everything that should have been served hot was piping hot the service was perfect. Canapes, delicious and creative and our salmon starter and lamb rump mains were fantastic. All our guests were very very happy.
